  • Update: The Election Commission has submitted its report in a sealed cover before the Supreme Court on Vivek Oberoi starrer 'PM Narendra Modi' biopic, news agency ANI has reported.

    The top court will hear the matter on April 26 and has directed the report to be served to petitioner (producers of the movie).

  • Jannayak Janata Party today announced its three Lok Sabha candidates for Haryana, including Digvijay Chautala from Sonipat against former Haryana chief minister and Congress candidate Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

  • PM Modi is expected to address a rally in Dindori, Maharashtra shortly.

  • Former chief minister and Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) chief Sheila Dikshit has been fielded from North East Delhi. She will take on AAP's Dilip Pandey and BJP's Manoj Tiwari.

  • Congress candidates for 6/7 seats in Delhi:

    North East Delhi: Sheila Dikshit
    East Delhi: Arvinder Singh Lovely
    New Delhi: Ajay Maken

    The party has not declared a candiate for the South Delhi seat.

  • NEWS FLASH: Congress has announced its candidates for six out of the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. The announcement effectively ends possibility of a Congress-Aam Aadmi Party alliance.

  • JD(S) members killed in Sri Lanka blasts: Report

    News18 has reported that seven members of the Janata Dal (Secular) were killed in a string of blasts that hit Sri Lanka yesterday. The JD(S) members had reportedly gone to Sri Lanka for a vacation after the second phase of polling concluded on April 18. South Karnataka, a JD(S) stronghold, had voted on April 18.

  • Update: Asked if PM Modi will also contest from a constituency in West Bengal, BJP President Amit Shah said today that "there is no such plan at the moment."
