Protect greenery
I request Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to initiate action to save KBK Park, Indira Park, Bison Polo Ground and other green spaces in the city to keep ecological balance. Despite environmentalists’ warnings about the destruction of hills, the government seems least bothered about the danger of radiation exposed from the rocks in the absence of greenery and due to groundwater depletion etc.

Save Musi
Citizens would want to know action being taken by Musi River Development Corporation, GHMC, Police, HMDA and other authorities when the Metro Rail authorities are openly flouting the rules in stopping the flow of Musi water. Authorities concerned along with Metro officials should visit the place together and fix responsibility, remove the debris and bring the riverbed back to its original shape. Since monsoon isn’t far away, authorities should take action on priority basis for smooth flow of water. Metro Rail should not only care for the public transport, but also take care of environmental issues.

Postcard shortage
There is acute shortage of postcards in all post offices including head post office in Secunderabad for over a month. As a writer, I used to mail 10-15 post cards daily. Due to non availability of cards, I was put to much hardship. I appeal to the postal authorities to make urgent arrangements to stock postcards at all branches.
