Congress president Rahul Gandhi has filed as a response to a contempt plea which was filed by BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi. In his statement to the Apex court, the Congress president expressed his regret over “chor “ remark against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated in his plea,” I regret the remark made in the heat of political campaigning and it was used and misused by the political opponents.” Rahul had made this statement against the prime minister in connection with the Rafale deal.
