Popular songs of nineties leave impact on gathering

Nagpur: Songs that stirred the souls of the audience were presented at a musical programme ‘Nineties Not Out’, organized by Harmony Events at Scientific Society Hall, Laxmi Nagar, on Saturday evening.
Memorable songs like ‘Saanson ki jaroorat jaise’, ‘Dil deewana bin sajna ke’, ‘Main hu prem rogi’, ‘Aur iss dil mein kya rakha hai’, ‘Dil mein hu tum’, ‘Tu shayar hai’, ‘Gali mein aaj chand nikla’, ‘Maaye ni maayi munder’, ‘Meri bindiya’, ‘Yeh dil deewana’, ‘Dil hai ke maanta nahi’, ‘Poochho zara poochho, ‘Aksar is duniya mein’, ‘Morni baga ma’, ‘Mere khwabo mein jo aai’, ‘Badi mushkil hai’, ‘Pehli baar mile hai’, ‘Sochenge tumhe pyar’ and ‘Pyar do pyar lo’.
Singers Uma Raghuraman, Hemant Darvekar, Pramod Pendke, Parinita Maturkar, Swapna Pandey, Rashmi Kolhe, Manisha Tiwari, Swapnil Titre, Pallavi Damle, Gagan Puri and Purva Salpekar presented the songs.
The audience tapped their feet on duets like, ‘Tumse jo dekhte hi’, ‘Mein se meena se na saaki se’ and ‘Mujhko kya huwa hai’. Pallavi and other singers performed a medley of some popular songs.
The programme was conceptualized by Rajesh Samarth. Shweta Shelgaonkar was the anchor.
