RGC suffered a third successive defeat after they were blown away in the first half as Bridgend ran in four tries.

The heat was blistering and the pace of the play in the field matched it.

Billy McBryde opened the scoring after three minutes with a penalty, but then the Ravens got into gear and didn’t look back.

The physicality around the breakdown was being won by Bridgend and it was causing RGC problems.

Tries from Tom Morgan (2), Jones, James Little with conversions and penalty from Owen Howe.

Sam Rogers and Evan Yardley made a couple of breaks but again the Ravens were able to regain the ball and force the Gogs back to their own line.

Front foot ball was not available for RGC and the pressure was constant for the majority of the half.

They did manage to get a try as halftime approached with Robin Williams scoring and McBryde adding the extras.

The tries flew in during the second half with RGC able to find the space and attack from deep.

Rogers and, Sam Jones, and Bailey Rae grabbed tries with McBryde also crossing the whitewash. Efan Jones was a great outlet for RGCs attacks with some impressive breaks from his own half.

The homeside were always able to keep their noses in front and at one point a Howe penalty made to 43-27.

The Gogs who fought back, and in the final minute Rogers raced down the wing, before kicking ahead with the pace of Sam Jones grabbing the ball on the line to score.

Bridgend were putting bodies on the line to stop a final RGC attack, and when the Gogs were held up on the tryline the referee blue for full-time.
