Firefighters have been tackling a house fire in Flintshire.
The emergency services were called to the property in Pen Lon, Bagillt at 8.05am.
Two crews from Holywell and Flint were sent to the scene, with one remaining there three hours later.
It is understood the house is owned by Wales and West Housing Association, and the occupant was not home at the time.
Madeline Easter, a neighbour who contacted North Wales Fire and Rescue told North Wales Live: "I saw smoke coming from the upstairs windows and contacted the fire brigade.
"We banged on the door to see if the young lad was in the house but he wasn't in the house."

Mrs Easter added: "Upstairs looks like it's in a bad way but it's just lucky no one was hurt.
"We are a bit shaken up on the street, it's not a nice way to start the day."
A forensics team is at the property to investigate the cause of the blaze.
It is understood the Welsh Ambulance Service were not required to attend.
