Pune: City-based rider Rugved Barguje has decided to utilise the forced free time  he was saddled with as the domestic two-wheeler season has got delayed owing to general elections.

The Team TVS Racing rider will be the lone Indian entry at the Sri Lanka Super Series event--the Foxhill Supercross on Sunday.

“The track they have in Sri Lanka is very challengeing it is more than two kilometre long with long straights and a lot of bumps, which tests mettle of the bike and patience of rider too,” is how Rugved described the challenge that  he has at hand.

Having finished the 2018 season in the overall third position, Rugved is pumped up to prove his worth to the team which supported him all through his frequent injuries he suffered last year.

“This year I hope to find my footing and get some early points in the season that is scheduled to start in the last week of May though venue is yet to be announced,” informed Rugved.

Tricky track
On Sunday Rugved will go over a track comprising gravel, tarmac and a hill climb, which has sort of aimed a revolutionising the motor racing, specially Supercross category.
