Book: The Mister

In this book Roy exposes some uncomfortable, controversial, and even surprising truths about the political thought and career of India’s most revered figure,  Ambedkar. In doing so she makes the case for why Ambedkar’s  achievements must be resurrected, not only in India but throughout the world.

On September 12, 1897, 21 Sikh soldiers of 36th Sikh Regiment stood undeterred as they guarded the post of Saragarhi against the onslaught of almost 10,000 Afghan tribesmen. Based on colonial era records, this book pays homage to the brave soldiers who defended the ‘kesari’ flag with their last breaths.
