An unlicensed 15-year-old girl was caught driving with a young child while smoking a cigarette on Sunday.
Victorian police stopped the teenager on the Princess Highway near Mulgrave, Victoria.
'The car was pulled over and checks were conducted on the driver who turned out to be a 15-year-old unlicensed teenage girl,' a police statement read.

'The teenager's mother was the front seat passenger,' officers said.
The car, which belongs to the teenager's mother, was impounded by police.
The teen is set to be charged with driving without a permit.
Under Victorian law, it is illegal to smoke in a car with a person under 18 present.
If a person is caught smoking in a car with a minor present, they could receive a warning or a maximum fine of $322.38.
If they choose to take the matter to court, they could face a fine of $805.95.
The penalties for driving without a license vary depending on circumstances.
Those who never held a license before you could face a fine of up to $3,600 and three months in jail.
