"In a very short time, Congress gave him important posts in the party. There is no place for such a person in the party," Chavda told reporters here.

He said that instead of thanking the party for giving so much importance to him, Thakor is acting against the interests of the party.

"We have learnt he is campaigning against Congress candidates. Thus, we have already started our process to get him expelled as an MLA. If he is not interested in working for the party, then he should tender his resignation from Radhanpur seat (in district)," Chavda added.
