Son, daughter-in-law, grandson booked for murder

HISAR: Fatehabad police have registered a case against a man for allegedly murdering his grand-mother. Parents of the accused were also suspected to be involved in the crime. The deceased woman has been identified as 62-year-old Ramdevi, a resident of Maturam Colony of Fatehabad. The two accused have been arrested while son of deceased is on the run.
Fatehabad city police station in-charge Surendra Kamboj said a case of murder has been registered on complaint of deceased’s husband Ramavtar who accused his grandson Vicky, son Jaikumar and daughter-in-law Nirmala Devi for murdering her wife on Friday night.
In the complaint, Ramavtar said a function was organised on Wednesday by Vicky on the occasion of naming ceremony of his son. Ramavtar and his wife could not attend the function and this made Vicky angry who entered the house along with his parents on Friday night and attacked his grandmother with an iron ladle, resulting in her death.
City police station SHO Surendra Kamboj said the two accused, Vicky and his mother Nirmala Devi, have been arrested.
