Police are calling for help to locate a missing WA visitor who got lost when bushwalking in the Dwellingup area on Friday.

Chantal, who is on holiday in WA, contacted her friend around 6pm on Thursday to say she was lost.

Police have yet to locate her as of Saturday morning, and asked those in the area to keep an eye out for the missing tourist.

Police are calling for people to look out for her, and said she might be disorientated and cold.

Temperatures in Dwellingup dropped to a low of 2.3 degrees just after 7am on Saturday morning, with south-south-westerly winds reaching about 33km just after 2am.
