Winner of Standup and Startup honored
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, The Annual function Rhythm 2K19 of Rabindranath Tagore University organized by Student’s Activity Council as concluded magnificently on Thursday. Various cultural programs were organized on the closing event.
During the cultural events, students enthralled audiences with their Group Dance, Solo Dance, Band performance, Duet Songs etc. The main attraction of the program was the play, staged by Rajat and Group based on Surgical Strike and the bravery of Captain Abhinandan. Apart from this, Rajasthani dance, fusion dance, Western dance also made audiences to wiggle. The ceremony began with Yoga Acrobatics Dance.
The chief guest of the program Mr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director of AISECT, spoke in his address about the continuous progress of the university. He greeted all the students and informed that every possible help is being given to the students for Start-up.
On this occasion, Dr. Rabindranath Tagore University’s Registrar, Dr. Vijay Singh said that this university has been providing a common platform for everyone to refine their skills and display their talent.
In order to promote entrepreneurship, the University has been organizing the start up contest for the last three years and giving the stand-up award. Awards are being given to encourage social entrepreneurship this year. Dean of the University, Academics, Dr Sanjeev Gupta in his address, said ‘Rhythm 2k 19’ is that platform for the students by which they are prepared for the national level youth festival.
In the Start-up contest, Abhishek Dubey (Muskan Dreams), Dr CP Dubey (Saakhi Apparels Pvt. Ltd), Sarita Anand (Angels) and Bhavna Tripathi (Safal Sarvutthan for Art Life and Cultural Welfare Society) were rewarded.
In the Stand-up category, awards were given to Swati Malviya (Sushma Mahila Jan Kalyan and Child Development Training Committee, Amla), Kakoli Rai and Sumit Rai (Digdarshika), Santavna (Aday Education and Public Welfare Committee) and Narendra Sharma (Public Welfare Bhumika Committee). The special award was given to Shri Vishwas and Pratibha Ghuse (Mandar and No More Foundation).
During this occasion Mr. Nitin Wats, Director IQAC Cell, Mr. Rajiv Agarwal, Vice President, Mandideep Industry Association, University Faculty members and a large number of students were present.
