AHMEDABAD: Just a month after the Ahmedabad Metro train made its first run on the eastern tracks of the city, three computers installed in its cabin got stolen on Wednesday night from Gomtipur.

The Project manager has lodged a complaint in this regard with Gomtipur police station.

Police sources said they are scanning CCTV footage of the New Cotton Mill station to identify the thieves.

According to the FIR, the train was parked at the New Cotton Mill Metro Station on Wednesday night. When the Metro supervisor inspected the train the next morning, he found that three computers were missing from the cabin.

“He contacted his supervisors and it was ascertained that the computers were not sent for repairs and then informed Gomtipur police station. We rushed to the station and scanned CCTV footage. We will be able to crack the case soon,” said a senior police official.
