Kim Kardashian explains how THAT bizarre bathroom sink works and reveals bespoke lighting and HUGE TV that rises from her bedroom floor
Kim Kardashian explained her 'basin-less' sinks via Instagram on Wednesday.
The reality star confused fans after showcasing her mansion for Vogue 73 Questions last week that featured a modern bathroom sink appearing to have no outlet for water.
So the 37-year-old shared a video explaining how the sinks work, telling fans: 'There’s a slit for the water. And it goes in…no back splash will come up.'

Clever: So on Wednesday, the reality star, 38, gave fans another video tour to explain how the double vanity, which she says was designed by hubby Kanye West, actually works
'Kanye came up with this design,' she said, crediting her rapper husband for the provocative fixtures. 'Eight versions of this prototype sink was made.'
As she zoomed in on the sink, Kardashian explained how the sloping design allows the water emanating from the faucets to pool slightly and then drain.
Perhaps this will quell some of the Twitter users who were initially left scratching their heads about her bathroom.

Mercifully, Twitter users responded and there were plenty of theories.
The seeming lack of basins under the taps led @MGale90 to speculate that the vanity was made from 'high end marble sponge,' adding: 'What, poor people don't have any at home?'
@Go_Rpboy_Go helpfully suggested that having no actual sinks was 'a safety feature that prevents them from accidentally drowning while admiring their reflection in the drain stopper.'
Others poked fun at the the wealthy reality star and the rapper, calling out their pretentious design choices.
'Sometimes things that are expensive are worse' said a GIF shared by @andywindmill.
Another GIF stated: 'No one knows what it means but it's provocative.'
