Chasing 169 runs, the hosts were off to a flying start as the opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw added 49 runs in 6.3 overs. However, Rahul Chahar dismissed the aggressive Dhawan for 35 (off 22 balls). The left-hander's innings included 5 fours and a six. Shaw soon followed Dhawan. The 19-year-old was dismissed for 20, also dismissed by Chahar. Having shone with the bat, Hardik Pandya castled Colin Munro (3). DC captain Shreyas Iyer (3) also failed to deliver as he was castled by Chahar. The leg-spinner clawed MI back to the match with impressive match figures of 3/19 in 4 overs. DC's last hope Rishabh Pant also succumbed to pressure, being bowled by Jasprit Bumrah. Efforts put up by Axar Patel (26) and Chris Morris (11) enabled DC to crawl to 128/9 in 20 overs, but this was much short of the target.
