The officials of the Election Commission (EC) will submit their opinion about the biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Supreme Court on April 19. This comes two days after the officials watched the movie starring Vivek Oberoi. The EC has stalled the release of the film until the Lok Sabha polls concluded. They said that such films that subserve the purpose of any political entity or individual should not be telecasted via electronic media.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a convention organised by traders supporting the BJP at the Talkatora stadium in New Delhi on April 19. Delhi BJP leaders said that Modi will express his "gratitude" for various measures promised in the party manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls. The Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said the party manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls has "raised hopes" of the people including traders in the country who want to bring Modi back as the Prime Minister.

BJP president Amit Shah is likely to address a rally in Baramati in Pune district on April 19. He would be speaking to the public instead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will be able to attend the rally due to his busy schedule, party leaders said. This comes after the Prime Minister, who has been taking potshots at Sharad Pawar in the run-up to the Lok Sabha polls.
