Lok Sabha election: Polling begins in J&K's Srinagar, Udhampur constituencies amid tight security

The second phase of polling has begun on 95 seats across 11 states and 1 union territory. Polling is underway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar and Udhampur constituencies amid tight security. The Election Commission has set up around 4,000 polling stations across J&K for the second phase of Lok Sabha polls. Udhampur will witness a contest between BJP’s Jitendra Singh and Congress’ Vikramaditya Singh, while National Conference’s Farooq Abdullah Srinagar will take on PDP’s Agha Mohsin and PC’s Irfan Ansari.
