  • JUST IN | Karnataka BJP writes to EC over alleged "mass indiscriminate deletion of voters name in the voters list". Letter reads, "The officials have purposefully and deliberately deleted names without any reason, just to render undue official favor to the ruling coalition party."

  • PM Modi: In Kerala, BJP is standing up to give every section of the society. We are also committed to giving the right to the common man of Kerala. We are giving the right to the poor by providing 10 percent reservation in the entire country without snatching anybody's right. The BJP government has given constitutional status to the Backward Classes Commission.

  • PM Modi: Communists have a problem with our faith, but they cannot crush the faithful. Today, the situation has been created that they cannot even take the name of God, otherwise the Communist government frames false cases, and lathi charges people.

  • PM Modi: Congress' 'Naamdaar' says he his contesting from Wayanad because he wanted to send a message to South. Couldn't you contest from Trivandrum to give the message? It's the capital. It's not a message to South but a msg of appeasement politics.

  • PM Modi: Congress President had to come to Wayanad here to secure his place in Parliament. He says he won't speak a word against CPI(Marxist). Kerala mein kushti, aur Delhi mein dosti, yahi inka khel hai

  • PM Modi: Hundreds of BJP and RSS Karyakartas were killed in the political violence in the state. I pay tribute to those who were killed and promise them that their sacrifice will not go in vain.

  • PM Modi: When elections are about political violence, 'God's own country' also burns. The Communists and the Congress both have ruined the state of Kerala. Political violence is against the culture of Kerala. When the entire nation is on the path of development, it has become imminent for Kerala to get rid of Communists and Congress.

  • Sam Pitroda, Indian Overseas Congress Chief on EVM: As an engineer, as a technical expert, I'm not satisfied with EVM (Electronic Voting Machine), but I've not been able to pinpoint because we don't have EVMs. If someone gives us an EVM to study for 1 year, we'll be able to tell you something.
     

    You will have to understand the design, its software. Every little signal will have to be analysed. Then only you can say something. But one thing is clear that there is some problem, what is the problem we don't know.

    People's opinion was heard for Congress' manifesto. We spent 5-6 months listening to people. We went countries to countries, spoke to villagers, met domain experts, held a huge meeting in Dubai where members from 12 countries came.
