Heavy traffic on A483 Wrexham Bypass Southbound between A539 J1 (Ruabon) and A5 (Halton Roundabout).
Shortfall of £600,000 stops restoration work on 'best Victorian pier left in Wales'
A funding shortfall of £600,000 means restoration work on the “best Victorian pier left in Wales” has been stopped. Work to restore Garth Pier in Bangor was begun by the city council in August 2017, and has already cost £1.3m. But surveys conducted last year uncovered more issues with the restoration than previously expected, including sizable metal decay.
