Shivamogga: State BJP president BS Yeddyurappa has said that his party will win 10 out of the 14 constituencies that go to polling on Thursday.
“Compared to 2018 and 2014, the atmosphere is very good across the state,” Yeddyurappa told reporters in Shikaripura, adding that he is not scared of CM HD Kumaraswamy and minister DK Shivakumar.
He said that BJP candidate BY Raghavendra will win in Shivamogga as the party is strong in all the eight assembly constituencies under the Lok Sabha segment. “We are seeking votes in the name of PM Modi as he is a capable leader. Let the Congress seek votes in the name of Rahul or Manmohan Singh,” he said.
Yeddyurappa said that the CM’s remarks on the Pulwama attack and soldiers are examples that he is using all issues for political gains.

“CM Kumaraswamy is running the administration like a Tughlaq. Over 20 MLAs of Congress and JD(S) are not accepting the fact that he is the CM. The government has no concerns for any section of the society.”
