The weather for Easter weekend is forecast to be unseasonably warm in some parts of the country, particularly in NSW.
School holidays, Easter and the Anzac Day public holiday fall within the same week this year, so the sunny weather will be welcomed by many holidaymakers.
While Victoria and southern Western Australia are expected to experience a cold snap, NSW and the northern parts of the country will enjoy warm, sunny weather.

'In NSW, the Easter weekend will be dry for much of the state with warmer than average temperatures,' Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Ellie Blandford told Daily Mail Australia.
'Parts of NSW, particularly the south west, are looking at temperatures of around eight degrees above average, while around Sydney the days will be warm at a few degrees above average.'
'Towns such as Griffith and Wagga are likely to see temperatures of up to 30 degrees which is unusual for this time of year.'
Holidaymakers heading to the north coast around Byron Bay, however, may be in for a wet weekend, according to Ms Blandford.
This area is the only part of the state expecting constant showers over the Easter break.

Steven Pearce from Surf Life Saving Australia said last summer was one of the most dangerous he had seen.
'We've had 32 people drown on the NSW coastline,' he told the ABC.
'Our life savers will be out in force… and during the Easter period they do, on average, 300-500 rescues,' he said.
'With the elevated temperatures we're expecting a really busy period.'
Across the rest of the country the southern areas will see colder temperatures while the northern parts of the country will be warm.

Melbourne will reach a minimum of 10C and a maximum of 25C on Saturday.
Perth will be similarly chilly with a minimum of just 6 degrees on Sunday and a maximum of 21.
Brisbane will see mild temperatures with lows of about 19 and maximums reaching the high 20s.
Canberra and Hobart will be cold, while Adelaide will be experience milder temperatures.
