Portugal Warning
Liverpool fans travelling back from Porto after tonight’s Champions League match could face travel disruptions.
A nationwide strike by truck drivers transporting hazardous goods has led to fuel shortages at Lisbon, Porto and Faro airports, according to reports.
Former desk-mate turned enemy Lottie Gibbons has the latest.
FA Youth Cup Final
Former ECHO man Andy Kelly has confirmed the date for Liverpool’s FA Youth Cup final against Manchester City.
The clash will take place on Thursday April 25. Kick-off at City’s Academy Stadium is scheduled for 7.45pm BST.
After a change in the competition format this season, the tie will be one leg only with extra-time and penalties if necessary.
2019/20 Fixtures
The 2019/20 Premier League fixtures will be announced on 13th June.

Ziyech Latest
A host of Premier League sides are interested in a summer move for Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech according to GGFN.
Ziyech, 26, has been in superb form for the Dutch giants this season, scoring 15 and creating the same amount in 25 Eredivisie appearances.
He also helped them down Juventus in the Champions League quarter-finals last night.
Liverpool were linked with the Moroccan last summer but Leicester City, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton are now said to have joined the race.
Ajax value Ziyech at £30m.

Mane Hint
Sadio Mane has dropped a hint over his Liverpool future.
The striker has been linked with Real Madrid but told the club magazine of his happiness at Anfield.
“Of course I want to be a legend not only for Liverpool but also in the Premier League story and that is one of my targets,” he said.
“I will do everything possible to achieve everything possible.
“Reaching 100 games means a lot to me. To play this many games for a club like Liverpool is incredible.
“Like I have always said, I am very happy to play for this club and every single day I am enjoying being here and trying to do everything to win something for this club.”

Faro Warning
Silva Claim
Everton manager Marco Silva has waded into the debate over who is the best left-back in the city.
Andy Robertson and Lucas Digne have both been in terrific form this season but Silva has backed the Frenchman.
“Robertson is a very good one also,” he told the ECHO. “He is a fantastic boy, a fantastic professional.
“He is our rival but he deserves everything he is achieving in his career but Lucas is Lucas, and Lucas, for me, is the best one because he is our player and playing in our blue shirt.”

Werner Update
Bayern Munich are optimistic of landing Timo Werner this summer despite a difference in valuation between themselves and RB Leipzig.
The German forward has scored 14 goals this season alerting a host of top European clubs including Liverpool.
Leipzig, according to Manuel Veth via Bild, value Werner at £50m while Bayern are only willing to go up to £35m.
It is also claimed the German giants are struggling to procure a deal for Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Real Alert
Liverpool are on red-alert as Zinedine Zidane plans a summer overhaul at Real Madrid according to Spanish outlet AS.
The report claims Zidane has told Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente and Brahim Diaz they can all leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
Madrid’s lacklustre performances in both domestic and European competitions forced the club to bring the French legend back to the club less than a year after parting ways.
Bale and Ceballos have both been linked with Liverpool in recent times but AS claim the Welshman could cost up to £120m.

Mane Demand
Liverpool demanded £173m plus Vinicius Junior for Sadio Mane’s services from Real Madrid according to El Chiringuito.
The Spanish source - who, to be fair, don’t seem the most reputable - believe Jurgen Klopp values Mane at more than €200m.
Vinicius has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at the Bernabeu despite Madrid’s struggles, making 15 La Liga appearances this term.
Chiringuito claim that Real, rather unsurprisingly, turned down Liverpool’s negotiation for the Senegalese forward.
Porto vs Liverpool
Liverpool take on Porto at the Estadio Dragao this evening in the second-leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash.
The Reds currently lead the tie 2-0 thanks to goals from Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino.
Dejan Lovren and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have missed the trip to Portugal but Joe Gomez has returned with Jurgen Klopp confirming the young centre-back is an option for the game.
Porto have a 100% home record in the Champions League this term but Liverpool will be hoping to book their place in a second-consecutive semi-final.
James Pearce and Ian Doyle are present this evening to provide live score updates, team news and commentary while the rest of the team ensure things run smoothly at ECHO Towers.

Right then, it’s time for the song of the day. Apparently my mum actually listens to these, so this one is for her.
Give it a listen. It’s twenty one pilots and their song House of Gold from the album they named Vessel.
Let’s get going!
