Two arrested for rape, murder of minor girl in Mainpuri

Representative ImageAGRA: A minor girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Mainpuri’s Bharthara village when she was going to relieve herself on Tuesday night.
Police has arrested two persons, Veer Singh (21) and Jitendra Singh (35), who hail from the same village, in connection with the crime.
According to police, the girl went out around 8:30 pm for relieving herself when these two men grabbed her and allegedly raped her. The accused allegedly gagged her when she tried to scream.
When the girl did not return home, her family members started looking for her and found her body late night in the field. They informed police.
Talking to TOI, SP Ajay Shankar RAI said that both have been booked for rape and murder of the minor. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
