The resident doctors of government medical colleges in Nagpur, Latur, Akola and Ambejogai on Monday received their pending stipends.
While doctors in Nagpur received the stipend for February and March, doctors from Latur and Ambejogai received stipends for January and February. Akola doctors, however, received only the stipend for January.
The Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) said that they have been assured that the stipends of the remaining months would be dispatched later this month.
