I do." Katelyn McClure appeared in a New Jersey courtroom on Monday to plead guilty for her role in a scam that went viral.

The 29-year-old faces up to four years in prison for duping more than $400,000 from GoFundMe donors, claiming to be raising money for Johnny Bobbitt -- a homeless man she and ex-boyfriend Mark D'Amico met on the streets of Philadelphia.

NATS: "Did you create a Go Fund Me ..

Yes" McClure says she and D'Amico made up a story that Bobbitt gave her his last 20-dollars when she ran out of gas and was left stranded on the highway.

Police say the couple appeared on both local and international media to spread the story as widely as possible.

NATS: "WAS THE GAS STORY… CORRECT" McClure plead guilty to one count of theft by deception in the second degree.

She plans to apply for an early release program, which her attorney says could allow her to spend only 120 days behind bars.

SOUNDBITE: JAMES GERROW ATTORNEY FOR KATE McCLURE, SAYING: "I'm hopeful that both in the federal court and here the judge will have compassion and full understanding of what took place" McClure has already plead guilty in federal court to wire fraud.

Bobbitt has also plead guilty to state and federal charges.

Both have agreed to testify against D'Amico.

McClure claims she didn't want to start the GoFundMe page, but was coerced by her ex-boyfriend.

Court documents say the pair used the money raised to buy a BMW, expensive handbags and to go on trips to Disneyland and Disney World along with multiple casinos trips.
