Kartarpur Sahib corridor: India, Pak discuss technical issues

and Tuesday held another round of talks at the border here to discuss technical issues relating to the proposed corridor to Sahib in in the neighbouring country, officials said.

At the nearly four-hour meeting, which took place in makeshift tents on the zeroline, experts and technicians from both the countries discussed "timing for completion of bridge, alignment of roads and engineering aspects of the proposed crossing points", the officials said.

While the meeting was on, civilians were not allowed access to a point on the Indian side from where they can have darshan of Sahib through binoculars.

The meeting was conducted in a benevolent atmosphere and various issues were discussed for speedy completion of the proposed project, the officials said.
