Hyundai Venue To Be Unveiled Tomorrow; Launch In May 2019

Officially the much awaited sub-4meter SUV from Hyundai will be unveiled for India and the world tomorrow at a very unique showcasing. Covers will come off Hyundai Venue for the very first time as audiences and customers will be given a physical demonstration of what all this SUV will have to offer. Till then here are 6 key points to know about All-New Hyundai Venue:

  • Hyundai Venue launch date in India:

Hyundai Venue is expected to be launched in the 3rd week of May 2019. However, there is still no official word on this from the manufacturer’s end.

  •  Hyundai Venue expected price and competition in India:

Introduced in the sub-4 meter category, Hyundai Venue is expected to be priced between Rs 8 – 12 lakhs in India. It will compete against the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and the Tata Nexon.

  • Hyundai Venue bookings unofficially open in India:

According to some media reports, select dealers are accepting booking for Hyundai Venue at an initial amount of Rs 50,000.

  • Hyundai Venue interiors to premium and feature loaded:

It is clear from the official sketches and leaked images that the interiors of this sub-4 meter SUV will premium. With many segment first features, the Venue will offer ventilated front seats and Connected Technology. Referred as Hyundai BlueLink Technology there will be 33 connected features on offer while 10 are said to be India specific. Further, the equipment list is expected to consist of an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, electric sunroof, automatic climate control among others on the top-spec variant.

  • Hyundai Venue standard safety features:

Hyundai Venue will offer some features like ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, seat-belt reminder, speed alert, rear parking sensors among many more as standard fitment.

  • Hyundai Venue Engine Specifications:

Hyundai Venue is based on the All-New Hyundai Santro’s platform. The Venue will be available in 3 engine variations – a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder turbocharged petrol good for 100 bhp, a 1.4 petrol that churns out 99 bhp with a 1.4 diesel that produces 89 bhp of power output. Transmission duties will be carried out by a six manual gearbox while a 7-speed dual clutch gearshift could be in the offering on the new turbo petrol unit.
