Man stabbed in chest in Bunbury beach carpark

A man was stabbed in the chest in one of two separate beach carpark muggings in South Bunbury on Saturday.

Police said a man armed with a knife approached victims at 12pm and 1.30pm in the carpark at Mindalong Beach.

One victim in his 40s received life-threatening injuries, the second an injury to his hand.

Bunbury Detectives need to speak to anyone in the area between 11.30am and 2pm who saw any suspicious people, particularly a man wearing a red jumper, black pants and a baseball cap.
