A Joint Action Committee has been formed for the protection of Revenue department and employees in the State. The key decision was taken at the meeting of the Rrevenue Employees Associations here on Tuesday night. Mr.Vanga Ravindra Reddy was elected as JAC Chairman, Mr Garika Upender Rao of Telangana VROs Welfare Association and Mr Golconda Satish of Telangana Village Revenue Officers Association elected as Secretary Generals. Other members of the JAC are Vijaya Rao, Ramesh Bahaddur, and Rajayya - Co-Chairmen, Narayana Reddy- Treasurer, Chandramohan- Convener.
The JAC decided to welcome the changes in the Revenue Department but it would oppose the decisions that would undermine the existence of the Revenue Department. The JAC also decided to meet TRS Working President K T Rama Rao in two or three days. It would report the schemes and programmers implemented by the department in the last four and a half years .
The first meeting of the JAC will be held in two or three days to finalize the future action plan.
