Man held for porn attack

AHMEDABAD: Angered by imagined relationships between his girlfriend and other men, a cinematographer morphed her pictures onto pornographic images and uploaded them on social media. The accused, Abhishek Sharma, 23, belongs to Kudasan in Gandhinagar. He was arrested on Sunday.

Deputy commissioner of police, cyber cell, Rajdeepsinh Jhala said that the girl had lodged a complaint against unknown persons for creating her fake IDs and uploading lewd pictures . Inspector V B Barad said that his team traced the IP address of the device . The address led to Sharma. He was a student of journalism and mass communication when he met the girl, who was then a homoeopathy student. "After they fell in love, Sharma began to harbour suspicions," Barad said.
