A group of youth, standing outside the pandal erected for the joint public meeting by former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Minister for Higher Education G.T. Deve Gowda at Kodakola on Sunday, managed to distract a section of the audience by shouting slogans in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The handful of youths, who were standing by the roadside, a few metres away from the pandal near the Sri Kalibeerammanavara temple in Kadakola on the Mysuru-Nanjangud highway, shouted slogans in favour of Mr. Modi when Mr. Siddaramaiah was criticising the NDA government at the Centre.

The slogans distracted a section of the audience seated at the rear side of the pandal. The shouting increased when media personnel rushed there. Policemen at the venue soon dispersed the agitators.
