Damle cricket tournaments from April 15

Pune: Maharashtriya Mandal’s Cricket Next Academy will be organising cricket tournaments for various age groups from April 15 at Katariya High School ground, Agashe College ground and Kodre Farm ground. 

The event which is in its 19th year has been organised in the memory of founder Late Captain Shivarampanta V Damle.

The Under12- action will commence from April 15 with 16 teams while the Under-14 action will start from April 25 with 16 teams competing against each other.

The Under-16 matches will be played from May 5 and the Under-19 matches will be played from May 15 with 16 teams playing in each category.

There will be 4 groups with 4 teams in each group. There will be 3 league matches. Two top teams from each group will qualify for knockouts. Many current state players have played in this tournament.
