WATCH | UP cops chase down bike on fire, save lives of two

A bag attached to the bike, which had two people on it, caught fire on a highway in Etawah. An Uttar Pradesh police van noticed the fire when the bike crossed the police car on a national highway.

Uttar Pradesh police on Monday averted a major accident when it chased down a bike that had caught fire in Etawah. A bag attached to the bike, which had two people on it, caught fire on a highway in Etawah. An Uttar Pradesh police van noticed the fire when the bike crossed the police car on a national highway.

The police van then turned on its sirens and gave chase to the bike on the highway. When the car neared the bike, the policemen in it shouted out to the bike rider and got him to stop his vehicle.

The policemen then helped douse the fire

None of the riders were hurt in the incident which otherwise could have spiraled into a fatal accident.
