People only see the achievements of the Father of Indian Constitution late B.R. Ambedkar but they must realise how hard he had worked to reach those great heights, said Telangana High Court Acting Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan. Speaking at a meeting held on Monday at the HC Bar Association hall remembering B.R. Ambedkar on his 128th birth anniversary, Justice Chauhan said that people should realise how much agony and pain late B.R. Ambedkar had gone through to become one of the great gems of the country. Coming from humble background, B.R. Ambedkar had faced social discrimination.
Yet, he had shown compassion and kindness towards all sections of society. The legal fraternity should strive to achieve the goals enshrined in the preamble of the Constitution, he said. Justice T. Amarnath Goud, Advocate General B.S. Prasad, Bar Council Chairman A. Narasimha Reddy and several lawyers were present at the well-attended meeting.
