2019 Audi Q3 Coming To U.S. With Single 228HP Engine, $34,700 Starting Price

Audi has confirmed that the all-new 2019 Q3 will have its North American debut at the New York Auto Show later this week.

Along with the reveal of the first photos of the compact SUV in U.S. specification, Audi has also released pricing. The base 2019 Audi Q3 Premium starts at $34,700, excluding a $995 destination and handling fee.

There are three grades on offer in the United States: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Customers can also have the 2019 Audi Q3 with the sporty-looking S line exterior pack which is a $1,300 option.

Regardless of the trim level, all Audi Q3 models feature a single powertrain choice that brings 28 additional horsepower and 51 lb-ft (69 Nm) additional torque over the previous generation. That’s a new 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that makes 228 hp and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque.

Linked to a standard eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and standard quattro all-wheel drive, the turbo-four enables the Q3 to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 7.0 seconds. The new Q3 also features a redesigned front five-link suspension that’s said to offer a comfortable yet agile ride. Audi drive select with five different drive modes (comfort, auto, dynamic, offroad, and individual) is also standard.

The list of standard features offered by the second-generation Audi Q3 also includes LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch alloys, Aluminum roof rails, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 8.8-inch MMI touch response display, heated leather seats, panoramic sunroof, and more.

On the safety frint, the 2019 Q3 offers Audi Pre Sense Basic and Audi Pre Sense Front as standard, with many other systems available as options.
