LUDHIANA: A meeting of Youth Akali Dal (YAD) was held in Ludhiana on Sunday in which its leaders chalked out a strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Youth Akali Dal district president Meetpal Singh Dugri assigned the election duties to newly-appointed office bearers.
Speaking on the occasion, Dugri said that the party has announced Maheshinder Singh Grewal as Lok Sabha candidate and to help him in campaigning, booth level committees of youth leaders will be formed.
Apart from door to door campaigning, the Youth Akali Dal leaders will campaign on social media platforms and perform duties on election booths, Dugri said.
Meetpal Singh Dugri further said that the youth workers will propagate the policies of Modi government and release the report card of sitting Ludhiana MP Ravneet Bittu as he has failed to bring any single project for Ludhiana.
