One dead after nightclub shooting in Australia

A night club shooting in Melbourne, Australia left a security guard dead on Sunday (April 14).

Police say least three more people had "horrific injuries." Authorities described it as a drive-by outside the Love Machine club in the suburb of Prahran.

All four of them were conveyed to the Alfred Hospital, two of them in a critical condition.

Sadly, one of those persons has since passed away and one remains in a critical life-threatening condition." Investigations were ongoing on Sunday - and no arrests have been made.

A trail of blood stains on a street nearby indicated to police one injured person had not yet come forward.

We just don't know if that's one of the four people that we have caught up with or potentially whether there is somebody else who was injured.

Police urged witnesses who saw any vehicle speeding around the time of the shooting to come forward, and also mentioned a black porsche SUV that was found burnt-out in another Melbourne suburb.

A police spokesperson told Reuters there was no suggestion yet the attack was related to terror.
