Delhi sealing row: Hardeep Singh Puri terms Mayapuri violence ‘failure’ of Arvind Kejriwal govt

Minister of State (MoS) for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri came down heavily on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government for the Mayapuri violence that occurred between locals and security forces, which were in the area to implement NGT’s sealing order. Puri termed the clash a “failure” of Delhi government, “particularly of Arvind Kejriwal”. On Saturday, locals in Mayapuri protested security forces’ attempt to seal scrap industries which then turned violent causing injuries to 14.
