‘Day with Snakes’ programme to be held in Chennai

CHENNAI: The Snake Park in Guindy will conduct a ‘Day with Snakes’ programme for students from Class VI and members of the public.
Experts on reptiles and snakes will conduct classes. After the classes, an interactive session will follow.

Chennai Snake Park Trust’s executive secretary S Paulraj said the programme was aimed at educating children and members of the public who have a passion for conservation and management of reptiles.


Participants can learn about identification of snakes, adaptation of reptiles, snake bites and behavioural observation of reptiles.


The programme will be conducted in six batches. The first batch will be held on April 20 and 21. The final batch will be conducted on May 25 and 26.
