'He wasn't very friendly': Former Today show star Richard Reid slams Karl Stefanovic's behaviour on Nine's set and claims he was 'always putting down' reporter Richard Wilkins
Former Today Show entertainment correspondent Richard Reid, 51, has sensationally slammed former host Karl Stefanovic, 44.
Speaking to Newscorp on Sunday, Richard labelled the axed host not 'very friendly' to other talent on the show, including entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins.
'I always try to treat everyone with respect and kindness, and Karl, I personally had trouble with the way he treated other talent on the show,' Reid said.

The former gossip reporter went on to say Karl wasn't very nice to Channel Nine star Richard Wilkins, claiming he was 'always putting down' the star.

'He was always putting Richard down and that just didn't sit well with me,' the now Studio 10 panelist said.
The American reporter added: 'He wasn't very friendly with Richard (Wilkins).'
Speaking about what the show was like behind the scenes, Richard said Karl was often considered the one who didn't fit in.

Despite hinting at a rift between Karl and Richard 'Dickie' Wilkins, Richard and Karl are known for being friends beyond the screen.
Richard attended Karl'slavish wedding to new wife Jasmine in Mexico in December of last year.
Richard Reid said he believed Karl had his 'own life and his own agenda' which the I'm A Celebrity star believed never included him.
He went on to say the Today Show has been on a downward trajectory for the past three or four years, with it being slow so nobody noticed.

Richard pinpointed the 'slow erosion' of the struggling breakfast show when he and former likable weather presenter Steve Jacobs left.
The American star went on to say he still gets along with Richard Wilkins and Karl's former co-anchor Lisa Wilkinson.
Karl was unceremoniously dumped from the show on his honeymoon last year, with the show relaunching a re-vamped line-up back in January.
Re-launching with two female hosts, Deb Knight and Georgie Gardner, it has struggled to find an audience and has plummeted in the ratings.

This isn't the first time Richard has taken a shot at Karl, with him talking about the 44-year-old suffering from baldness.
Speaking on the KIIS FM Kyle and Jackie O Show in Feburary, he said: 'hey, he rocked a combover like nobody's business, with a little bit of spray in his hair.'
While in the South African jungle, Richard surprised the other campers by revealing Karl had struggled with hair loss.
He told fellow contestant Angie Kent: 'So I go into the hair room, and this guy looks up and he's kind of balding... It was Karl Stefanovic without his spray-on hair!'
