Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan faces criticism for her tweet on Junaid Khan

Mahesh Bhatt’s wife Soni Razdan is once again being targeted by online trolls for her latest tweet. Recently, she posted an image of Junaid Khan, who was stabbed to death on a train near Ballabhgarh in Haryana in June 2017. Her caption read as, 'I am Junaid Khan, Muslim boy, age 15. I was killed by a mob on a train for being a Muslim. Remember me when you vote.' But netizens were quick to slam her for spreading 'fake news' and 'hate-mongering'. While some countered Soni's tweet by bringing up cases of Hindus killed in violence across country, others pointed out that her tweet was not in a good taste. There were also some who reminded the actress that the Punjab and Haryana High court said the fight was over seat, not on the basis of Junaid's religion.
