Duststorm likely to hit city in coming days: Met office

Kanpur: Weather is likely to change as dust storm is expected to hit the city in the next two to three days, said Met department of CSA University on Sunday. It has also predicted light rains between April 17 and April 18.
For the second consecutive day, the day temperature on Sunday stood at 41 degrees Celsius, making day hours very hot. The minimum temperature on Sunday was 21.8 degrees.
The rise in day temperature has made the weather hot. The day temperature, which was hovering between 34 and 38 degrees in the first week of April, shot upto 41 degrees thereby making day hours extremely hot.
There are chances that mercury would increase in the coming again and may touch 41 degrees mark or even more, the Met department further said.
