Big Little Lies will return to fill the summer Sunday void left behind by Game of Thrones.

HBO previously announced that the series' second season would debut sometime in June, but now they've revealed exactly when fans can expect to tune in for the new season: Sunday, June 9 at 9/8c.

Season 2 will pick back up with "The Monterey Five" - that is, Madeline (Reese Witherspoon), Celeste (Nicole Kidman), Jane (Shailene Woodley), Renata (Laura Dern), and Bonnie (Zoë Kravitz) - and introduce new characters, including Celeste's mother-in-law, Mary Louise (Meryl Streep), who appears to have some questions about what happened to her son in the teaser. For now at least, the rest of the husbands are intact and expected to return alongside the ladies.

Looks like we're all going to be spending the summer in Monterrey -- at least for the seven episodes that the new season has in store for us.

Big Little Lies Season 2 premieres on Sunday, June 9 at 9/8c.
