BENGALURU: Police said they are looking for a pet dog owner, who allegedly attacked a 28-year-old private company employee for shouting at the canine on April 5.

Harish Kumar of Parappana Agrahara was walking near the owner Vijay’s residence when the dog barked at him, police said. “In a bid to shoo away the dog, Harish waved his hands towards the animal. It barked menacingly and Harish took a stone and acted as if he would throw it at the dog. At this point of time, Vijay came out of the house and yelled at Harish. A heated argument broke between the two and Vijay, accompanied by his friends, attacked Harish with clubs and stones,” police said.

Police are looking for Vijay and his friends, Ganesh, Ambareesh, Nikhil and Chandrashekar.
