Legal aid and Health awareness camps organised at Aryans College

CHANDIGARH: Students of Aryans College of Law of LLB and BA-LLB departments organized a Legal aid camp while GNM and ANM students of Aryans Institute of Nursing conducted a General Health awareness camp in Thuha village under the guidance of their teachers.


Law Students briefed the people about Consumer rights, Right to information, FIR (First Information Report), Rights of a person, Free Legal aid, Dowry, Lok Adalat, Rights of Women and Children, Child Marriage, Right to Education, Importance of girl child and some various other topics related to their daily lives.


Nursing Students enlightened the local people about various health-related issues, common health problems like Diabetes, Hypertension, Environmental Sanitation, Obesity, and Arthritis etc precautions and measures to be taken at home or in surroundings to stay healthy.


Students guided the people about the various free services in Govt. Hospitals like Free Medicines, Free Health Checkup etc. Students also gave them a demo on how to avail the Free Legal Aid and assured them to provide every possible help whenever needed. It is to be mentioned that Aryans has adopted Thuha village for Legal and health services to keep the rural people updated.
