Eyeing to end their losing streak in IPL 2019, Royal Challengers Bangalore will travel to Mohali to face Kings XI Punjab in their 7th tournament clash. The Virat-Kohli led team has faced a series of losses at the start of IPL, and is on the brink of losing chances of playoffs.
RCB, which has been hampered by losing IPL finals on three occasions in the past, is having worst start in IPL with six losses in a row. The defeats have not only placed them on the lowest position on the points table, it has also lowered the confidence of its players too. Now the Virat Kohli-led team will look to bag their first-ever victory and the hunger for it will be evident during the match.
Talking about Kings XI Punjab, the team is high on confidence with in-form batsmen KL Rahul and Chris Gayle. Ashwin-led side suffered defeat in the last match against Mumbai Indians, but the century by KL Rahul ensured the team that they have a reliable player in the batting department. Also, Ashwin and other bowlers like Ankit Rajpoot, Mohammed Shami have been remarkable for the team, and they have great chances to defeat under-confident RCB.
