Punjab’s first CNG station: The 24 hours Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) service was inaugurated at Dashmesh HP center, Harbanspura, fatehgarh Sahib on Delhi Ludhiana National Highway. Dashmesh HP center is the first station connected with CNG pipeline and offering 24 hours supply of CNG to vehicles.

The CNG facility was inaugurated by Bhartinder Singh Chahal, media Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab. On this occasion wife of Chahal, Jaswinder Kaur, son Bikram Inder Singh Chahal, daughter in law Kamaljit Kaur and Grandson Gursherinder Singh Chahal.

The owner of the station informed that the facility was introduced with the investment of Rs 2.5 crore and the station will be first place connected with CNG pipeline. At other stations, CNG was stored but now the customers can avail direct CNG supply through pipeline that too for 24 hours.
At Dashmesh HP center, three dispensers with six nozzles were installed for the facility of customers. The separate dispensers were installed for the heavy vehicles.
IRM Assistant Salem manager Gourav Yadav said that CNG is cheaper than Petrol, Diesel and also environment friendly. Now, the demand of CNG has been increased and with the demand of customers, they have introduced 24 hours supply of CNG on Dashmesh center on GT road.

He said that due to heavy rush of vehicles on GT road the demand of CNG was high but the customers have to face the shortage. Now the 24 hours supply of CNG has been started for the customers.
On this occasion, Assistant Sales manager of company Bhavya Gupta and others were also present.
