KCR has destroyed the Revenue set up, says Jeevan Reddy

Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and senior Congress leader T. Jeevan Reddy has blamed Chief Minister K. Chandrashekara Rao for the disarray in administration and said he can’t blame the government employees now.

“How can Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao blame the government employees when he himself stayed away from Secretariat sending a message of non-seriousness in work. Revenue set up has almost been destroyed by KCR himself and now he is trying to shift the blame on employees,” he said at a press conference here on Saturday.

“Unless you come to Secretariat the system will not fall in line and people would continue to face problems,” the MLC said referring to the Chief Minister. He said Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao is now speaking of corruption among government employees forgetting that he was ruling the State for the last five years. Entire administration is being run by a few people and only conferred IAS officers were posted as Collectors to ensure their supremacy in decisions.

Former minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy, at a separate press conference, questioned how the Chief Minister could speak of rooting out corruption when thousands of crores was being looted in the name of re-designing the projects.

Work was being taken up without any estimation and there is a huge scam in rural water supply scheme, he said and demanded an inquiry by a sitting judge. There is no transparency in any tender floated by the government and challenged that he would prove it if given a chance.
