Tamil Nadu: Former MP J K Ritheesh dies due to cardiac arrest

RAMANATHAPURAM: Former MP J K Ritheesh died due to cardiac arrest here on Saturday afternoon. J K Ritheesh, an actor was presently with AIADMK party. Earlier, while in DMK, he got elected as an MP from Ramanathapuram constituency in 2009.
After completing his campaign at Theni, he came to Ramanathapuram on Thursday to campaign for BJP candidate Nainar Nagendran. He experienced some discomfort after returning back to his house at Sethupathi Nagar. After having lunch, Ritheesh collapsed while drinking water. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital nearby where the doctors declared him dead.
Immediately he was taken back to his house. As his family members and relatives were in disbelief, they took him to another private hospital in town where the doctors confirmed his death.
During the evening, his body was brought back to his house in an ambulance for the public to pay their final respects.
Though Ritheesh was a politician, he recently acted in a political satire movie named LKG.
